5th: POINTILLISM

The Seine and la Grande Jatte - Springtime 1888. Seurat
Pointillism is an art technique in which you colour your painting using only small pure colour dots.

The French painters George Seurat and Paul Signac invented this technique at the end of the 19th century. 

The children in 5th grade have tried it in this still life drawing:
