Collage is the art of making a picture by sticking pieces of colored paper, cloth, or photographs onto a surface.
6th Year pupils have created their own collages and want you to enjoy them.
Children like creating their own collages because it fosters their natural desire to explore the world through their sense of touch. Children can make decisions about which materials to use and can then manipulate these shapes of various textures, forms and colour until they are satisfied with their arrangement.
They see the beauty in ordinary things and can appreciate the possibilities of everyday objects.
