Second graders learn about Op art and recreate Vasarelly zebras.
"Op Art" or "optical art" has abstract patterns, often in black and white; with a big contrast between background and foreground.
Children in second grade learnt about Bridget Riley and Victor Vasarelly, and made their own collage versions of the 1937 zebras.
