Our students from 6th. primary are getting started to face this part of Social Sciences area by creating their own timelines in the form of artistic schemes. Here you can observe a selection of these great creations:

If you think a content represents a difficulty for you, make a scheme using drawings, symbols or anything you can think of for helping you in this process of memorizing and understanding.

So ....How have we started this path??? Reviewing the different stages from History, from the Prehistory to the Contemporary Age.

We have focused on the years they started and ended apart from the facts that made those periods change.

PREHISTORY:

5.000.000 million years ago to the emergence of first humans.

ANCIENT HISTORY:

3.500 BC years ago until the invention of writing.

MIDDLE AGES:

476 AD to the Fall of the Roman Empire.

MODERN AGE:

1492 when Cristobal Colon discovered America.

CONTEMPORARY AGE: Started with the French Revolution in 1789.

As a conclusion, don´t be afraid of History at all and sail in the knowledge of our ancestors, how they lived, their interests and all their wisdom remained.
