ART CIRCLE IN 5TH. PRIMARY GRADE

Students in second grade learnt how to convert their drawings into pieces of animation, using the website Animated Drawings.

Our sixth-grade students
have become real artists! Inspired by the famous American artist Andy Warhol and Pop Art style they have created
their own artworks.
Pop
Art is an artistic movement that began in the 1950s and became very popular in
the 1960s. It is known for its bright colours, bold lines, and repetition of images
such as food, celebrities, and common objects. Andy Warhol was one of the most
important artists of this movement.

This week, our 6th grade Primary students have been working on a very special
project for our school community.
They have
created a “Memory” game focused on caring for the environment and recycling.
To design
and make the game, the students used different recycled and craft materials
such as cardboard, empty tuna cans, and a variety of images related to
recycling, sustainability, and protecting our planet.
During our
Environmental Week celebration, every child will have the opportunity to play
with the memory game.

TOO MUCH HISTORY, WELCOME SCHEME-CRAFT🌍
Pupils in second grade learnt about eclipses and they created their versions of the painting "Eclipse" by Alma Thomas.
Second grade artists learnt about types of lines and
used them to draw lion´s manes.
2nd graders made a fantastic fall tree painting, when all the leaves change colour from green to yellow, orange, red and as it gets ready for winter time.
In second grade, we are learning about natural landscapes and the famous american artist Georgia O´Keefe.
